Giving up on your goal because of one setback is like slashing your other three tires because you got a flat.

Have you decided that it’s time to make a change but aren’t sure how to get started? Or have you already set more goals for yourself than you care to admit-but keep failing to reach them?

Whether you’re looking to build muscle, lose weight, run a marathon, or simply improve your health, you likely know the first thing you need to do is to set some realistic goals.

It’s time for a new way of thinking.

Try and set specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound goals around nutrition and fitness. Get after it!

If you miss a meal, don’t try and overcompensate on the next one and let it impact the rest of your day or your entire weekend. Just get after it and back on track!

If a cheat meal turns into a binge weekend, don’t let it turn into a week or even longer cause of dwindling motivation. Just get after it and back on track!

Try not to let a slight derailment snowball into much more. Everyone stumbles along the way, I definitely do — the successful ones are those able to pick right back up and keep moving forward. Just get after it and back on track!
